Job Description
- Placement Executive is responsible for all the activities relating to the students placement. He will be specializing in different technical stream.
- To reach out to companies in a systematic manner so as to bring them for campus drive
- Manage relationships with existing corporate clients while focusing on obtaining new business. Getting tie ups with clients
- Will be responsible for making execution plan, promotional activities and its execution.
- Generating placement opportunities for Cranes students through mapping, approaching and tie-up with companies, industries etc.
- To handle end-to-end placement and training related activities. Will conduct the competitor mapping exercise on courses, contents, offerings, fees & its promotion.Â
- Collaborate with Trainers and Training Managers to reflect customer requirements in the training process.
- Participate in various student assessments with trainers to evaluate the student fit/potential placements.
- Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop new content on company specific interview requirement. Brief students on successfully clearing the interview just before the interview process.
- Follow up hiring steps to receive placement confirmation, joining date, offer letter, etc. Support placement logistics, such as traveling, accommodation, etc.
- To receive the personnel and provide necessary inputs about the college and co-ordinate placement activities. To provide career counseling to students.
- Update the University / Institution LinkedIn Page with updates about the institution, like faculty achievements, student achievements, institutions plans and collaborations, and new programs
Roles & Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining relationships with students to discover skills and preferences.
- Finding placement opportunities for students.
- Liaising with students and employers during placements.
- Fostering relationships with local placement providers.
- Negotiating terms of placements with providers.
- Conducting pre-placement background checks.
- Providing lists of placement students to course coordinators.
- Reporting student or workplace issues.
- Providing information and documentation about placements to students
