WE'VE HEARD THIS BEFORE

If Any Of This Sounds Like
Your 2 AM Thoughts, Keep
Reading.

Across 25 years and 25,000 students, we’ve sat across the table from almost every version of this worry. The confusion is real — and it’s not your fault. Here’s what we hear most, and what we actually do about it.

Everyone around me is doing AI or web dev. Why should i pick the wrong?

Software is crowded and getting more crowded every batch. Embedded is the one skill machines can’t run without — and almost nobody your age is chasing it. That’s not a risk. That’s your opening.

My degree gave me theory. I've barely touched a real board.

That gap is the single most common thing we fix here. 80% of the program is hands-on — you’re wiring, flashing and debugging real microcontrollers from week one, not reading about them in a slide deck.

Every posting wants "2 years experience" for a fresher role. How is that even fair?

It isn’t — which is exactly why we build your capstone projects to read like real work experience on a resume, not coursework, so you’re not walking into interviews empty-handed.

I've already spent money on one course that led nowhere. What if this is another one?

We take that fear seriously, not lightly. That’s why we don’t disappear after enrolment — our placement team stays on your case till you’re actually hired, not just till the batch ends.

When I'm stuck on a project at midnight, there's genuinely no one to ask.

You won’t be learning off a YouTube tutorial with no one to answer back. 50+ subject-matter mentors — working engineers, not recorded voices — are reachable through the program.

I freeze in interviews because I can't explain my own project properly.

That’s a confidence gap, not a skill gap, and it’s fixable. Mentors rehearse your project story with you before you ever sit across from a recruiter.

My parents keep asking "when will you get a job?" I'm tired of saying I'm trying.

That pressure is real, and it isn’t yours to carry alone anymore. Our counsellors talk you through a realistic timeline you can actually tell your parents — not vague reassurance.

Every week someone posts a new joining letter on LinkedIn. I'm still wondering what to even learn.

Comparing your beginning to someone else’s launch only stalls you further. Pick a skill that’s actually in short supply and get moving — that’s the fastest way out of the scroll-and-panic loop.

Everyone says AI is replacing engineers. Where do I even fit in anymore?

AI can write code. It can’t solder a board, debug a sensor, or make a physical machine respond in real time — that’s exactly the ground embedded engineers stand on, and it’s getting more valuable, not less.

None of this is a coincidence. Every part of this program exists because a student told us this exact worry, once.
SEE HOW THE PROGRAM ANSWERS EACH ONE
ABOUT THAT FEAR OF UNEMPLOYMENT

Your Degree Isn't
The Problem.

Every year, thousands of engineering students graduate. Most of them did nothing wrong — they studied, they cleared their exams, they earned the degree they were told would be enough.

And yet companies keep rejecting them. Not because they aren’t smart. Because a degree alone doesn’t prove you can actually build anything.

That’s exactly why students with average marks but real, hands-on projects on their resume often get hired before university toppers with no practical exposure. Recruiters aren’t hiring your marksheet — they’re hiring proof that you can do the job on day one.

THE COST OF WAITING

What Happens If You
Keep Putting This Off.

WITHOUT INDUSTRY SKILLS
WITH EMBEDDED SKILLS
HOW WE ANSWER THAT

Software Is Crowded.
Machines Still Need Makers.

The Problem
Lost in a sea of "coders"

Lakhs learn to write code. Very few learn to make hardware think. Go where the resume pile is thinner and the pay respects the skill.

The Fix
Labs, not lecture slides

80% hands-on sessions. Microcontrollers in your hands from week one. You'll debug real boards, not just read about them.

The Outcome
Walk out job-ready, not just certified

50+ subject-matter mentors, live instructor-led classes, and a placement team that stays on your case till you're hired.

BEFORE YOU ASK

Questions Students
Ask Before Enrolling.

Do I need coding knowledge to join?

Not at all. The program starts with the fundamentals of Embedded Systems, C programming and electronics. Whether you’re a beginner or have some prior knowledge, mentors guide you step by step until you’re confident working on real hardware.

Can Mechanical students join?

Yes. Mechanical Engineering graduates with an interest in Embedded Systems, Automation, IoT or Automotive Electronics are welcome, and many have successfully transitioned into embedded careers with the right training.

Can Diploma students join?

Absolutely. Diploma holders in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science and related branches can enrol and build industry-ready embedded skills.

Which engineering branches are eligible overall?

ECE, EEE, E&I, CSE, Mechanical and Diploma students across these streams have all completed this program. If you’re unsure whether your branch is a fit, a quick counselling call will clear it up.

Is placement guaranteed?

We provide dedicated placement assistance — resume building, mock interviews, technical interview preparation and access to hiring opportunities through our industry network. Job offers depend on your performance, attendance, assessments and interview success, but we stay on your case until you’re placed.

Is hostel accommodation available?

Yes, for outstation students, subject to availability. Our counselling team will walk you through accommodation options during admission.

Do you offer weekend batches?

Yes. Weekend batches are available for working professionals and students who can’t attend on weekdays.

Is the course available online?

Yes. Live, online instructor-led batches let you learn from anywhere while interacting directly with trainers during sessions.

Will I work on real hardware, or only simulations?

Real hardware. 80% of the program is hands-on — you’re wiring, flashing and debugging actual microcontrollers and boards, not just running simulators

How many live projects will I complete?

You’ll work through multiple industry-grade projects across the program, building up to a capstone project designed to be resume-worthy, not a single mini-project.

Will I get interview preparation and mock interviews?

Yes. Mentors rehearse your project story and run mock technical interviews with you before you sit in front of an actual recruiter.

What companies hire embedded engineers from Cranes Varsity?

Our alumni now work at companies including Bosch, Capgemini, ZF Technologies, L&T Technologies, Tata Elxsi, Aptiv, Genpact and Kyndryl, among 500+ active hiring partners.

Do you help with resume building and LinkedIn optimisation?

Yes, as part of placement support — your projects are packaged into a resume built to get past filters and actually get read by a recruiter.

Can final-year students join before graduating?

Yes. Final-year engineering students are welcome to start early so they walk into placement season with hands-on skills already built, not still starting from scratch.

What software and hardware tools will I learn?

You’ll work across Embedded C, microcontrollers, RTOS, automotive protocols (like CAN) and Edge AI, using real development boards, oscilloscopes and debugging tools — not just textbook diagrams.

How many students are there in each batch?

Batches are kept intentionally small so mentors can give hands-on, one-on-one attention rather than lecturing to a packed hall. Ask your counsellor for the current batch size.

What is the course duration?

Duration varies by program. Most Embedded Systems programs run 4 to 6 months, including practical labs, projects and placement preparation

Do you provide EMI options?

Yes. Flexible EMI options are available to make the course affordable — your admission counsellor can walk you through the payment plans
