Job Description
Job Summary
The Placement Executive is responsible for driving the employability outcomes of our learners. You will build a robust network of hiring partners, manage the end-to-end recruitment process for our graduates. Your success is measured by the “Placement Rate”—the percentage of our students who successfully transition into new roles.Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Relations & Partnerships
- Identify, pitch to, and onboard new hiring partners (Startups, MNCs, and Agencies) to hire from our talent pool.
- Maintain and scale relationships with existing HR partners to ensure a recurring pipeline of job vacancies.
- Organize and execute exclusive placement drives, virtual career fairs, and networking events.
2. Coordinating with delivery team & Students
- Review and optimize student resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and portfolios.
- Organize mock interviews, soft-skills workshops, and “technical brush-up” sessions in collaboration with the Delivery team.
3. Placement Operations
- Shortlist and map the right candidates to specific job descriptions provided by hiring partners.
- Manage the interview scheduling process and act as a liaison between the student and the hiring manager.
- Track student progress through the “Placement Funnel”—from application to offer letter.
4. Data & Feedback Loop
- Maintain accurate records of placement statistics, average packages (CTC), and hiring trends.
- Collect feedback from employers regarding candidate performance to help the product/curriculum team improve the course content.
Desired Candidate Profile
- The candidate should be a Graduate in any field.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of functioning of academic institutions and placement process
- The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and networking in the market.
- Multi-tier architecture knowledge
- Excellent self-management skills (task lists, status reports, prioritisation)
- Commitment to quality and timely deliverable
- Desire to understand the business.
